Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 11th 2026

Season Insider is a registered business name of James Hansen (ABN 47303509147), trading as Bravva. These terms apply whenever you purchase a session, subscribe to our email list, or otherwise use seasoninsider.com ("the Site"). By purchasing a session or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these terms.

1. What we offer

Season Insider helps people plan and execute a working holiday snow season, currently focused on Banff, Canada. We currently offer two things:

We also offer a free downloadable checklist in exchange for joining our email list. That's free, so the paid terms below don't apply to it, but our Privacy Policy covers how we handle your email address.

2. The Strategy Session

Booking and delivery

Rescheduling

You can reschedule your Session up to 48 hours before the scheduled time via the link in your Calendly confirmation. Reschedule requests made with less notice will be handled at our discretion.

No-shows

If you don't attend your Session and haven't given at least 24 hours' notice, the Session is considered delivered and used. If something genuinely came up, get in touch — we'll look at it case by case.

3. The Banff Season Guide (pre-order)

The Guide is currently available to pre-order at an early price. When you pre-order, you're buying a digital product that isn't finished yet, on the following basis:

4. Nature of the advice we provide

Season Insider is built on personal, firsthand experience of working holiday seasons in Banff and other destinations. What we provide is general guidance and personal insight, not professional advice. Specifically:

5. Payment

Sessions and Guide pre-orders are both paid for in full, in advance, via Stripe. We don't store your payment card details — these are processed and held by Stripe directly. See our Privacy Policy for more on this. Prices shown are the prices that apply at the time of your purchase; we may change prices for future purchases (for example, the early pre-order price rising at public launch), but that never affects an order you've already placed.

6. Refunds

See our separate Refund Policy for full details. In short: your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are never affected by anything in these terms.

7. Intellectual property

All content provided through a Session, any digital guide, email content, or material on the Site is owned by James Hansen / Season Insider, or used with permission. You're welcome to use what you learn for your own personal season planning. You may not record, reproduce, resell, or redistribute Session content or guide content without our written permission.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Season Insider isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our advice, content, or Site — including decisions you make about travel, employment, visas, or finances based on information we've provided. Nothing in this section limits any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example as the product changes (such as when the self-serve guide launches). The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "last updated" date above.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
