Privacy Policy

Season Insider is a registered business name of James Hansen (ABN 47303509147), trading as Bravva ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through seasoninsider.com ("the Site"), how we use it, and how you can contact us about it. We currently fall under the Privacy Act 1988's small business exemption. We're publishing this policy anyway because it's the right thing to do, and because we want you to know exactly what happens with your information.
1. What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details — name and email address, when you download our free checklist, join our email list, or purchase a Session or Guide
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we don't see or store your card details
- Booking information — collected via Calendly when you book a Session (name, email, chosen time)
- Prep information you choose to share — if you reply to our confirmation email with details about your situation (timeline, work status, etc.) ahead of your Session
- Website and campaign usage data — via Google Analytics, including pages visited, general location (city/region level), device/browser type, and which link or campaign brought you to us (we tag our own email and social media links so we can see which ones are working)
Signing up through social media
We sometimes run posts on Instagram where commenting a keyword triggers an automated direct message with a link to sign up for our checklist or email list. If you take part, that sign-up flows into the same email system described below. Your interaction on Instagram itself (commenting, messaging) is also subject to Instagram's own privacy terms, which are outside our control.
2. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Deliver the Session or Guide you've purchased
- Send you the free checklist and the email sequences you've signed up for
- Book and manage your Session via Calendly
- Understand how people find and use the Site — including which campaigns and links bring people in — so we can improve what we do
- Respond to questions you send us
We don't sell your personal information to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party services to run Season Insider. Your information may be processed by:

Some of these providers are based overseas (including the United States), which means your information may be processed outside Australia. Each of these providers has its own privacy and security practices; we've chosen providers with established, reputable privacy standards. We don't share your information with anyone else, and we don't use it for anything beyond running Season Insider.
4. Email marketing
If you join our notify list or become a customer, we'll send you emails related to Season Insider. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we'll process unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing us directly.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're subscribed to our list or as long as reasonably necessary after a purchase (for example, for our own tax and record-keeping obligations). If you ask us to delete your data, we will, except where we're required to keep records for legal or tax purposes.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct any information that's wrong
- Delete your information (subject to our legal obligations to retain some records)
- Stop sending you marketing emails

7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including relying on the security measures of the reputable third-party providers listed above. No online system is 100% secure, but we don't store sensitive information like payment details ourselves.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Season Insider grows — for example, once the self-serve guide launches. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal information, contact us first at hello@seasoninsider.com so we can sort it out. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
